Improve Eye Health

Helping you take care of your eye health is Dr. Dunning’s mission and she uses a range of tools at her disposal to improve eye health and optometry education. She performs eye exams to screen for eye conditions and diseases, treats the varying needs of eyes throughout their lifetime, as well as educates patients on proper eye care. Your eyes are your gateway to the world; ensure that you are seeing it to the fullest. Call to book an eye exam to get a clear picture of your eye health.

The delicate tissue, at the back of your eye, that helps you to see, is called the retina. For patients 40 years and above, Dr. Dunning analyzes photographs of your retina to determine if retinal disease is present or not.

We offer nutritional support for epiretinal membrane.

When your eyes are free of retinal disease, Dr. Dunning can determine if your eyes are at low, moderate or high risk for retinal disease. When your eyes are at moderate to high risk, she will recommend one of several strategies to reduce your risk of retinal disease.

When you have a retinal disease, you could lose your vision. Dr. Dunning will recommend one of several strategies to reduce the risk of your retinal disease getting worse.

This technique and the strategies to improve eye health are based on Dr. Dunning’s clinical expertise, gathered since 2009. Common retinal diseases include Age-related Macular Degeneration, AMD and EpiRetinal Membrane, ERM.
